Clean Water, Clear Minds: A Transformational CSR Initiative at Ampad Primary School

Under their CSR initiative Project Umang, Prakash Chemicals Private Limited, in partnership with ARCH Foundation, addressed a critical need at Ampad Primary School, Vadodara, impacting 270 students. The school had long struggled with the absence of clean drinking water, forcing children to repeatedly walk home under harsh conditions, affecting their health, attendance, and learning. Recognizing this barrier, a Reverse Osmosis (RO) water purification system was installed within the school premises. This intervention not only ensured access to safe drinking water but also revitalized the entire learning environment without disruptions. This thoughtful initiative aligns with SDG 6 (Clean Water and Sanitation) and SDG 4 (Quality Education), exemplifying how Corporate Social Responsibility can lead to lasting, meaningful change.
